MAHA-LAKSHMI, THE GREAT GODDESS

In tantric texts, Lakshmi place the supreme importance, she was Maha-Lakshmi, the supreme goddess.
Lord Lakshmi is differentiated from Maha-Lakshmi. Maha-Lakshmi is an autonomous entity and the supreme embodiment of the mother-goddess.
Lakhmi is not visualized as a beautiful goddess seated on a lotus, pot in hand, but she was like a virginal warrior-goddess riding a lion, much like goddess Durga. Maha-Lakshmi is a form of the goddess is especially popular in the region of Maharashtra.
As per ancient Pancharatra, Maha-Lakshmi considers being the root of all creation. In the beginning, they consider, the cosmic soul- the unfathomable unmanifest Narayana- desired to create the cosmos.
In the Lakshmi tantra, the goddess says that I am inherent in existence, I am inciter.
Lakshmi is the divine power that transforms dreams into reality.
Lakshmi is the consort of Vishnu and married his incarnations Rama (as Sita), Krishna (as Rukmani), and Venkateshwara (as Alamelu).
Goddess Lakshami is the god of wealth, affluence and ruling power. As per astrology, planet venus represents Lakshmi, Goddess Durga, Santoshi Ma, and Shiva-Parvati.

The Appearance of Goddess Lakshmi:
Goddess Lakshmi is described as a fair lady, with four arms, seated on a lotus, dressed in beautiful clothes and precious jewelry. Her expression is always loving and calm.

The vehicle of goddess Lakshmi is the owl.

There are two most famous prayers for worshipping goddess Lakshmi: Sri Lakshmi Stuti by Indra and Sri Sukta. Another popular prayer pronounced by the great sage Agasti: Agasti Lakshmi Strota.

LORD HANUMAN STORIES - THE MOST IMPORTANT STORIES OF HANUMAN

Hanuman ji is known for its embodiment of infinite strength and power. Hanuman ji has far more qualities and virtues, which play a vital role in shaping his character. There are many names of Lord Hanuman. Valmiki’s Ramayan has detailed accounts of the stories that lead to the development of lord hanuman, the reason why he is worshipped as a lord in Hindu mythology is his immense strength.



BIRTH AND CHILDHOOD OF HANUMAN
Hanuman was the son of Kesari, he was a vanar, and the grandson of Brihaspati, who was the king of Sumeru. Lord Hanuman’s mother Anjana, was an apsara of heaven, had descended to the earth as a human, because of a curse. Hanuman’s mother and father had performed 12 years of penance and intense prayers after that Lord Shiva granted them a child, as a boon. The child was hanuman, because of which he is also interpreted as a reflection of Lord Shiva himself. Hanuman is also called the son of the God of Wind, Vayu dev.
Hanuman’s childhood stories are a source of great entertainment. Hanuman was a very restless and adventurous child. He was the one who is believed to have mistaken the sun to a ripe and mange, he pursued to eat it.
Lord Hanuman was also blessed with the power of inducing fear in enemies, remove fear in friends, and also he was able to change his form while traveling.




Hanuman, as Rama’s Devotee
In Valmiki’s fifth book of Ramayan, Sundara Kanda, has a detailed story of Hanuman’s meeting with Lord Rama and Lakshmana, and their adventures after it. Rama and Lakshmana met Hanuman and Sugriva, while they were searching Sita Mata in the forests of Kishkindha. Sugriva sent Hanuman in the guise of a Brahmin to inquire about their actual identities and the reason for their visit. Rama saw the qualities of a trustworthy friend in Hanuman. Hanuman is very popularly depicted as opening his chest containing the picture of Rama and Sita.
